ELSA Lite app for iPhone and iPad

ELSA Lite is designed to help you quickly connect with an interpreter to help resolve any communication involving a person speaking a language other than English. Use the one-touch feature on ELSA Lite to connect to a live interpreter in any of more than 180 languages and dialects. ELSA Lite provides immediate access to a Spanish Hotline or to a call center where you can ask for any other language encountered. ELSA Lite provides users with two additional features that can be of great value when working with people who speak other languages. The first is an automated language ID system that enables you to show the person a list of languages presented in both English and the target language character set or script. Once the language is known, the user can immediately contact RTT Mobile and request an interpreter for that language. The second feature is a set of cultural communication tips that provides the user with useful information on any of more than 180 cultures. Scrolling through such information before engaging with members of a given culture will help make any contact more professional and productive. In order to use interpreter services
through ELSA Lite, your organization must establish a service agreement with RTT Mobile Interpretation. The language ID and the cultural communication tips functions are free for anyone to use anytime.
